Secular ceremony
Are you about to say “I do” but want to say it in your own way? Do you want your wedding ceremony to reflect you, your couple and your story? Then a secular ceremony is for you!
As your officiant, I’ll do my utmost to create a personalized wedding ceremony that reflects you and your couple. Something to remember for a very long time! My method: meet with you often, listen to you a lot, and put into words what I see and feel about your couple and your story.
What is a secular ceremony?
There are many ways to get married. In the most classic forms, we get married at the town hall and/or in a place of worship. But what if that doesn’t appeal to us? What if we wanted to say “I do” on a beach, in the mountains, or simply in our garden surrounded by our nearest and dearest? Well, that’s just it: the lay ceremony.
It’s a ceremony like any other where you say “I do” to each other, except that there are no rules! It can take any form you like, last as long as you like, and involve as many people as you like.
As a ceremony officiant, I’m here to help you prepare your ceremony, to guide you and answer your questions, right up to the day I have the honor of uniting you.
I write made-to-measure ceremonies, after taking the time to get to know the couple I’m going to tell about. So you can be sure that your ceremony will be unique and rich in emotion!
